Get Involved
We welcome all local residents, organizations, churches, neighborhoods, and businesses to get involved in Project 680. We believe strongly that a collaborative community-wide effort is the beginning toward a solution to the problem of student homelessness. With a little intention, we can make a huge difference.
Residents of all ages (kids too) are invited to partner with us in our endeavor to support local homeless students in practical and meaningful ways. Specific opportunities for involvement are posted on this website.
People do ask from time to time about donating money. We are not a 501C3, but we do have a relationship with a local 501C3 that will allow checks written to them on our behalf so that they can legally get money to us – as well as provide you with a tax receipt. Checks can be made payable to “Cordova Community Council” with a “Project 680″ memo. We do welcome financial contributions. If you are considering a financial donation, please call or email so we can talk about that process.
